The 7th Annual reNew and reDo fashion show benefiting the Women's Home took place at the Wortham Grand Foyer on Wednesday, August 17th, 2016. It raised $155,000 with 425 in attendance. The stunning venue boasted a chic runway and a pop-up boutique featuring high-end designer clothing and accessories from the Cottage Shop, the Women’s Home resale boutique social enterprise, and the closets of a select few best dressed Houstonians. Hundreds of guests had the pleasure of shopping for fabulous finds from the runway to the racks in the mobile boutique. 

 

This year's event was an evening of fun, fashion, and philanthropy. It was produced by Lenny Matuszewski and Tamara Bonar. Stylish Stacie Henderson and Michael Pearce were the chairs. Deborah Duncan from KHOU 11 was the fantastic emcee. 

 

All models rocked the runway, and this year's fashion icons were Danielle Ellis, Dominique Sachse, Gayla Gardner, Sippi Khurana, Vivian Wise and Lenny Matuszewski. The stylish models included Alice Mao, Anika Jackson, Katina Kearns, Maria Taylor Bosarge, Vanitha R. Pothuri, Alex Martinez, Peter Remington, Gregg Harrison, Jeff Shell, Amanda Abiassi, Layla Asgari, Randi Carrabba, Lois de Armas, Angel Drake, Onyi N. Eruchalu, Helen Jaw, Zoë Jackson-Jarra, Logan Lester, Heather Mellinger, Romy Mitchell, Mary Frances Nance, Angela Sturm, Brian de Armas, Shelby Kibodeaux and Bruce Padilla. 

 

Delicious bites provided by Chef Ricky at Elegant Occasions, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Catering by Culinaire. Other partners included Elizabeth Anthony, Elaine Turner, More than you can Imagine and Baubles and Beads.  At the end of the event, all guests left with a copy of CKW Luxe Magazine.
