Asia Society Texas Center Tiger Ball 2018 will be held on March 3, 2018 at the majestic Asia Society Texas Center itself in the heart of Houston’s impressive Museum District. The honorary chairs for the much-anticipated gala will be the Honorable Theresa Chang and Dr. Chang. Kathy and Glen Gondo, Helene and Stephen Le, and Sultana and Moez Mangalji will co-chair. Chevron will be the presenting sponsor.

The Tiger Ball kickoff party, which attracted a who’s who of Houston society, was held at the unique Yauatcha Restaurant in The Galleria on March 5, 2017. Hosted by Gigi Huang, the chic event introduced Gordon and Sylvia Quan as the upcoming gala’s honorees for 2018.

On the menu were Asian-inspired lychee martinis and dim sum. The evening also featured a surprise visit by mischievous lion dancers whose performance was a true crowd pleaser.

Tiger Ball is Asia Society Texas Center’s annual signature event and one of Houston’s most loved society affairs. The fete’s 160 participants raised over $1 million to support the organization's ongoing educational and cultural programming.
