The Celebration

Paper Co. Café was the surprise site of  this year’s Runway Houston hosted by the event’s founder and creative director, Omar Marcos. Announced just a week before the show, the venue welcomed a crowd of over 1,400 fashionistas eager to witness the spectacle, which featured high fashion and luxury automobiles. The event kicked off the 8th annual Lamborghini Festival.

The Story

After a dramatic countdown, models wearing stunning designs by Sameera Faridi, who combines the traditional with the modern, walked the runway, which they shared with equally stunning Lamborghinis. Dazzling looks that followed were by Engomichu, designers from the Art Institute of Houston, and Aries Milan.

Also featured was a collection of looks curated by realtor, influencer, and former Miss Texas, Logan Lester. Her picks for the season were chosen from some of Houston’s chicest boutiques and featured a wide range of eye-popping colors, fabrics, and styles.

The Moments

Prior to the show, Marcos himself greeted guests and admirers as they waited in line for the fun to begin. Artist, and former Texans linebacker, Joshua Caleb, who painted a custom piece for the event, mingled with guests in a private VIP area.
