The mood was celebratory for “A First Glance,” the book signing event for Warner Roberts’ latest book, hosted by Sharon Abercia, Monica Hartland, Angie Roberts, and Laura Ward.  Entitled, Life is an Adventure: What I Learned Walking (Modeling), Talking (Talk Show Host) and Managing, (Marriage, Motherhood and Miracles), the book chronicles Warner’s uplifting life story.

Warner shares her journey with her readers taking them from a small town in East Texas to the big city of Houston. Her adventures include modeling, hosting a talk show, getting married, becoming a mother, and other seminal moments. Readers get to experience what it was like for her to walk the runway, interview celebrities and politicians, publish books, create a museum, act in theatre and films, raise millions of dollars for charitable organizations, and, above all, become a wife and mother. Woven throughout her fascinating tale are the details of Warner’s eight-step program for a truly happy life.

Celebrating this milestone with Warner were her husband, Bob Roberts; her son and daughter-in-law, Cliff and Angie Roberts; and her grandsons Lee and Cliff Roberts. Warner’s editor, Ginger Bertrand, and Melanie Johnson of Elite Online Publishing, which published the book, were also on hand to share in the excitement.

The exuberant crowd who came to support Warner and buy her book, sipped champagned and lined up to get their copies signed and congratulate the grateful author.
