The YWCA of Houston Announces 2015 Honorees for Outstanding Women’s Luncheon 

Houston, Texas – The Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) of Houston was “Inching Our Way Towards New Heights” during its 29th Annual Outstanding Women’s Luncheon (OWL), at The Bayou City Event Center, May 20. Dr. Elizabeth McIngvale-Cegelski, founder of the Peace of mind Foundation, was the keynote speaker. 

The YWCA Houston honored some amazing women who inspire others to reach new heights of success. The honorees for 2015 were: Elizabeth A. Campbell, Partner and Chief Diversity Officer, Andrews Kurth, LLP; Loretta R. Cross, Managing Director in the Dispute Advisory and Forensic Services Group, Stout Risius Ross; Audrey Gilbreath, President & CEO, Gilbreath Communications, Inc.; Lily Jang, Morning Anchor, KHOU-TV; Wanda Mott, .D., Texas Children’s Hospital Pavilion for Women; Juliete Stipeche, Esq., HISD Board of Education Trustee; Latha Thomas, Vice President of marketing, Houston Museum of Natural Science; Beth Young, Senior Vice President, Colliers International; and Simone Biles, USA Gymnast.  

The Dorothy Height Legacy Award was presented to Jacqueline Bostic in honor of her unwavering commitment to the YWCA of Houston and YWCA USA. Mrs. Bostic is a longtime supporter and volunteer of both the national and local affiliate.
