He has been recognized nationally as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and was selected as one of the Texas Super Doctors Rising Stars for 2018 and 2019 by Texas Monthly. Dr. Zoghi is also the recipient of the Arrival Award: Beacon of Light for 2019 from the University of Houston Law Center and the prestigious Early Career Physician Leader of the Year Award for 2019 from the Texas Chapter of the American College of Physicians.

He also participates in the World Affairs Council of San Antonio, which promotes public understanding of world affairs and U.S. foreign policy and enhances the ability of its citizens and future leaders to participate in a global community.

A devoted husband and family man, Dr. Zoghi believes his success is mainly due to the moral support he receives from his wife, Bahar Khoshnoudi JD. He encourages their daughter, Kathryn, to follow in the footsteps of her mom and attend Stanford University and Harvard Law School.
