On Thursday, October 20, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, MUSE, and Norton Ditto joined together at the Centre at River Oaks for the fifth annual MUSE/Norton Ditto fashion show to benefit Candlelighters.  The crowd at the sold-out luncheon raised more than $32,000 for the cause, which provides support to families of children who have been diagnosed with cancer, contributing to the event’s total fundraising of nearly $200,000 since its inception.

Female and male models alike graced the runway wearing fall fashions from Muse and Norton Ditto, and sporting handbags from Elaine Turner, while guests enjoyed a five-star lunch provided by Fleming’s Chef Elias Miranda. Fringe Salon and Color Bar generously helped out by providing hair styling for the models, and ME2 Beauty Bar donated their cosmetic artistry. Models included Candlelighters moms Angela Dina and Lesley Gray, as well as survivor, Amanda Pena.

FOX 26’s Melissa Wilson took a break from modeling this year to serve as the Mistress of Ceremonies for the event. Testimonial speaker, Carrie Richardson, shared a look into her family’s life and journey through cancer treatment under the gracious care and endless support of the wonderful charity. It was a day that will continue to impact the lives of Candlelighters families while sharing their mission in our community!
