The Celebration

The 2019 Saks Fifth Avenue Fashion Show and Luncheon welcomed over 1,450 of Houston’s most philanthropic fashionistas to the NRG Center to support the 39th annual Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market. Sara Parr was the Nutcracker Market chairman and Tony Bradfield and Lynn Wyatt were the Saks Fifth Avenue Fashion Show and Luncheon Chairmen. Great Day Houston host, Deborah Duncan, emceed. Representing Saks Fifth Avenue was General Manager, Matt Brown.

The Story

As models paraded down the catwalk, showing off this year’s hottest holiday trends from Saks Fifth Avenue, guests enjoyed lunch and admired the stunning fashions on display. Some of Lynn Wyatt’s “best men,” including Stanton Welch, hosted a table in her honor. One of the event’s highlights was the raffling off of a gorgeous uptone-dyed knitted Russian sable stole donated by the Fur Salon at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Moments

The big surprise of the event came when Stanton Welch surprised Wyatt and the crowd by appearing on the runway in the grand finale. As the successful luncheon and fashion show wound down, attendees proceeded to the heart of the NRG Center to shop at the Nutcracker Market.
