Be Part of the Miracle at the Mission of Yahweh’s Annual Miracles of the Mission Luncheon
The Mission of Yahweh (Mission) is a faith-based shelter that empowers, enriches, and restores the lives of homeless women and children. Every year, the mission hosts its Miracles of the Mission luncheon. This year’s luncheon will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at the Junior League of Houston. Long-time supporter of the Mission, Warner Roberts, will emcee the event Alan Graham, visionary founder and CEO of Mobile Loaves & Fishes, a social outreach ministry that provides food and clothing, cultivates community, and promotes dignity to homeless men and women in need, will be the guest speaker. With unwavering commitment, Graham has pioneered sustainable solutions for the chronically homeless, bringing compassion, love and dignity to their lives. He is also the author of Welcome Homeless: One Man’s Journey of Discovering the Meaning of Home.
A current resident of the Mission will also speak at the luncheon sharing the ways in which the Mission’s services have changed her life and helped her get back on her feet. Participants will hear tales of courage and resilience and learn about the miracles that result when a helping hand is extended to those in need.
There is no admission fee to attend the luncheon, but donations to the Mission are welcome.
