Houston’s highest profile and most popular fashion show celebrated the 2016 Best Dressed Women of Houston in front of an adoring crowd of 600 Tuesday, at the Hilton Americas downtown. The 34th Annual Houston Chronicle Best Dressed Luncheon + Neiman Marcus Fashion Presentation featured designer Zac Posen and his 2016 Fall Collection. Led by Chairwoman Yvonne Cormier, the event raised over $500,000 for the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

The 2016 honorees are Mary Tere Perusquia (Hall of Fame), Susan Sarofim (Hall of Fame), Rosemary Schatzman (Hall of Fame), Stephanie Cockrell, Laura Davenport, Isabel David, Gayla Gardner, Winell Herron, Sippi Khurana, and Millette Sherman. They were recognized for their philanthropic endeavors as well as their great sense of style.

The sold out raffle was chaired by Mary D’Andrea and Valerie Dieterich, and included prizes such as $5000 shopping spree to Neiman Marcus, United Airlines Tickets, dinner for 10 at La Table, and a 2-night stay at Hilton Americas.

Premature birth is the #1 killer of babies. Funds raised by the luncheon support lifesaving research and community programs in Houston that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies and healthy babies.
