The Celebration

The re:MIND seventh annual Help.Hope.Healing. Luncheon, which also celebrated the organization’s fifteenth anniversary, was held at the River Oaks Country Club. Raising over $336,500, the successful event was chaired by Ellecia and Edmund Knolle.

The Story

Over 385 mental health advocates, supporters, and friends came together for the spectacular luncheon and to celebrate the organization and its essential work. The proceeds went toward re:Mind’s life-saving mission of providing free and confidential mental health support groups for individuals living with, and family and friends affected by, depression and bipolar disorders.

The Moments

For their endearing commitment to re:MIND, Marilyn and Bolivar Andrews and The Hamill Foundation were honored with the Gary Levering Mental Health Impact Award. Guest speaker, Dr. Sanjay J. Mathew, shared his ground-breaking research on the use of ketamine to treat depression, revealing and examining first-time discoveries about mental illness.

Guests: Marilyn and Bolivar Andrews, Marsha and Tom Brown, Marie Louise and David Kinder, Lynda Underwood, Lydia and Joe Gorczyca, Jo Ann Levering, Dorothy and Ronny Cuenod, Ellecia and Edmund Knolle, Carol Ann and Bob Paddock, Susan and Mike Padon, Carolyn and David Light, Reagan Fibbe, Peggy Roe, James Jennings, Evelyn and Bob Jewell, Lucinda and Tom Marinis, Flo McGee, Franna and Ted Litton, Todd Litton, Kathleen and Dick Rogers, Rachel and Bud Frazier, Charles Lusk, Julie and Matt Stanford, and Mary Catherine Sharman.
